Sebastian Ramirez, the producer of these beans, is a pioneering coffee designer pushing the boundaries of fermentation and flavour at his El Placer farm. For his fruit-infused coffees, he carefully selects and pulps arabica cherries, then ferments them with wine yeast and locally sourced, seasonal yellow fruits. Lightly roasted, this coffee is a sun-drenched marvel, bursting with sweet, tropical flavours of passionfruit and mango. The carbonic fermentation process, combined with fruits and wine yeast, creates layers of juicy acidity, a creamy texture, and a zesty finish. This coffee is perfect for a cold brew, offering a refreshing, summery drink. Type of Coffee: Whole Bean Origin: Quindio, Colombia Brewing Instructions: Grind beans before use. For best flavour use freshly ground beans. Best for use in cafetieres, filters and percolators. Use approximately 15g of coffee per 250ml of water. (92-94 Celsius). Perfect Pairing: Fruit Scones with Clotted Cream Can be enjoyed with or without milk and served cold over ice as a refreshing summer drink.
